Lent -- A time of preparation.

Lent is the 40 days (not counting Sundays) prior to Easter. It is a time for Christ’s followers to prepare for the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus on Resurrection Sunday (a.k.a. – Easter) – April 5, 2015.

Evergreen Church (the church on the hill) has a Lenten Devotional for Lent in 2015. The daily readings are taken from the Larger Catechism of the Westminster Confession of Faith. The catechism is in a “question and answer” format (Biblical footnotes are included). Read through each day’s assigned questions and answers. Think about them throughout the day. Pray about them. I hope and pray that this journey through Lent will bless each of us and prepare us for a fabulous celebration of Christ’s resurrection in 2015!
